Experience:
- October 2008 - present, Principal Systems Engineer,
Cimation LLC, Metairie, LA. Built cross-compiler toolchains to port Java applications
to embedded devices. Developed combined tag database for offshore production
facility which combined subsea, virtual flow metering system, topsides instruments
and Wonderware HMI tag list to synchronize configurations of multiple OPC servers
and remote process data historians. Performed cyber-security audits of offshore
facilities. Installed and maintained several VMware servers and guests running
both Windows and Linux. Configured and maintained Cisco ASA firewalls and HP
Procurve switches.
- March 2006 - September 2008, Principal Systems Engineer,
Monsanto, Luling, LA. Worked on several global teams to develop and implement
information security standards for manufacturing, database, and server systems.
Primary author of the Process Control System standard. Also worked on the

Worked with South American sites to add multi-language support for web applications developed
over the last several years. Maintained AspenTech InfoPlus.21 process data historian version
2004.2, Oracle RDBMS version 10.2, SuSE Linux server versions 9 and 10, Windows server version 2003,
Emerson DeltaV and DVOP versions 8.4 and 9.3, and Cisco PIX firewalls. Developed
and gave training for locally developed applications, and provided support to other plant sites
for deploying applications and implementing corporate security standards.
- September 1997 - February 2006, Senior Systems Engineer,
Monsanto, Luling, LA. Designed, deployed, and maintained Oracle and InfoPlus.21
databases for a large-scale chemical manufacturing plant. Planned and performed installations and
upgrades of DeltaV and AMS software, controllers and I/O cards, network copper and fiber hardware,
Windows NT domain controllers and trusts, and Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory domain controllers
and trusts. Participated in software beta tests
of InfoPlus.21, DeltaV, and POC. Configured TCP/IP networks for POC and OWP. Developed and wrote
web applications using PL/SQL and ASP for Oracle RDBMS, InfoPlus.21, and Apache Web Server
to report permit compliance and batch production.
Was awarded Luling Plant Employee of the Year for 1999 for some of this work.

- Navy Achievement Medal, 1987, for writing four separate database programs to support the
duties of the cryptologic administration department while stationed overseas, and for
developing a relational database system which helped to reduce mission manpower
requirements by over 70%.
